A business may have unused spaces after closing. Before offering paid access, decide when customers, staff or deliveries need those spaces back.

Map a complete week

Separate customer hours, paid periods and closures. Add public holidays, exceptional openings and maintenance. Simply saying “paid at night” leaves the start and finish unclear.

Illustrative example: if staff arrive before the shop opens, the parking period sold to other drivers must end early enough for their arrival.

Align signage and payment

Drivers should see the same rule at the entrance, on their screen and in their confirmation. Define what happens when a stay crosses two periods: applicable price, permitted end time and any extension.

Test less common situations

Check an arrival just before changeover, a Sunday, a public holiday and an interrupted payment. Assign a contact if a vehicle prevents spaces being returned to their main use.

Security Parking's paid-parking offer can be used to explore this arrangement. The intended functions and configuration must be confirmed for the site, without promising guaranteed occupancy or income.
